Numbers to Know

Have you ever heard the story of the glass house?

Too often we believe what’s going on inside another person’s life is better than what is going on in our own. We can see, or at least we think we can see, what is going on in their lives. The truth is, we’re all a great book cover. While it may look good on the outside, there is no telling what is on the inside until you start reading the story.

My name is Krys Fenner and I’m all about the story. Welcome to my site.

While there are all kinds of tidbits about me, my life (thus far), and my writing, the most important piece of information is on this welcome page. And it isn’t why I write. It isn’t even what I write. It’s that little piece of encouragement we can all give each other. To me, the phrases above say it all.

I also want you to tuck the below numbers away somewhere. On a sheet of paper, in the recesses of your mind, or even on a piece of napkin. You never know when someone can use help. It might even be you.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline             1-800-273-8255        Someone will listen.

National Sexual Assault Hotline             1-800-656-HOPE(4673)    I am not broken.

National Child Abuse Hotline            1-800-4-A-CHILD(422-4453)  I am not alone.

National Helpline (Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services)

1-800-662-HELP(4357)   The ability to fight back is in my fingertips.
